2. llmasin Primary School
llmasin Primary School is in Kajiado North location in South Keekonyokie Constituency within Kajiado County, Kenya and is a mixed Day Primary School.
The word llmasin is a Maasai word that means, "A good fertile place". Folklore has it that the area has good grass which the Maasai call "Ormasi". This grass only grows in a very good and fertile place, hence the name, llmasin".
The llmasin Feeding Program is a crucial initiative aimed at addressing malnutrition and improving the overall well-being of students in underserved areas. This program provides breakfast and lunch to all students enrolled at the school, ensuring they have access to nutrition that supports their physical and cognitive development. By promoting food security and education simultaneously, we aspire to contribute to a brighter future for the children and communities this initiative serves.
The llmasin School Feeding Program was born out of the need to create a deeper connection with the world around us. The project was initiated by Efu-Awich Family but has gained support of friends and family who have realized we all have the ability to do something and hence the responsibility to see it through.
